Riyadh, January 27, 2026 – At the ACWA Innovation Days 2026 held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Shanghai H-Ray S&T Co., Ltd. ("Shanghai H-Ray") and ACWA formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a new phase of strategic collaboration in the green hydrogen sector. ACWA Innovation Days 2026 is one of the world's most influential energy innovation summits, gathering leading global enterprises and experts in the energy field. As a leading enterprise in PEM electrolysis, Shanghai H-Ray's core technology originates from the Shanghai Advanced Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with proprietary intellectual property rights in key areas such as membrane electrodes, electrolyzer stacks, and system integration. H-Ray's products have obtained EU CE certification, demonstrating core advantages including low energy consumption (DC power consumption ≤4.1 kWh/Nm³ @2.0Acm-²), wide load operation range (10%-120%), ultra-high safety (H₂ in O₂ concentration ≤0.2%), and high-purity hydrogen output (99.999%), meeting the stringent requirements of large-scale renewable energy hydrogen production projects.

The Middle East possesses abundant solar resources and low green electricity costs, providing ideal conditions for green hydrogen production. Countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE are actively advancing energy transition strategies under their "Vision 2030," planning to achieve millions of tons of green hydrogen production capacity by 2030, with estimated electrolyzer demand exceeding 100GW.
